FMU Atrium Picture Self-Upload Guide
(Required for Virtual ID and Mobile ID Access)
Welcome! To use your FMU Virtual ID or Mobile ID, you must upload a photo of yourself to the Atrium Campus Connect system. This photo is used for identification, campus services, and safety.
Uploading your photo online means:
- You do not need to come to campus to take a picture
- You can upload a photo at any time, from anywhere
- Your ID can be approved faster once your photo meets the requirements
Why does your photo matter?
Florida Memorial University uses ID photos to help keep our campus and community safe. All photos are reviewed and approved by Campus Safety. Photos that do not meet the requirements will be rejected and must be uploaded again.
Following the photo rules below will help avoid delays.
Photo requirements (very important)
Your photo must meet all of the following rules:
* Clear, sharp, and good quality (not blurry or dark)
* Face centered and fully visible
* Head and shoulders only (similar to a passport-style photo)
* No sunglasses or eyewear of any kind
* No hats, head coverings, bandanas, or hoods
* Hair must not cover your face (eyes, nose, or mouth)
* No hand gestures or objects in the photo
* Neutral background preferred
* Professional and appropriate appearance
Photos that do not meet these standards will be rejected.
HOW-TO:
- Go to the following link, or scan the QR code using your mobile phone, login with the university credentials.

- Click the dropdown button to select the ID type, then upload it using the "CHOOSE FILE" and finally "UPLOAD GOVERNMENT-ISSUED ID"
4. In the next screen, you will be able to upload the photo. You can also come back to this page to check the status of the photo, whether it was approved or rejected, and you will also get an email with the updates. The approval process will take between 24 - 48 hours.
